Donʼt forget your prescription!

Current Texas law requires a prescription – provided by a physician, podiatrist, or chiropractor – in order to be treated in physical therapy.  Depending on your individual situation, you may be able to request a prescription by phone with your medical provider, or you may be required to complete an office visit prior to receiving a therapy ‘script’.

Insurance.

We’re contracted with most insurance plans (except Medicaid, Humana HMO X, and Aetna-Seton Network). As a courtesy, we’ll even contact your insurance company prior to your first visit to obtain a quote of your benefits. Keep in mind, though, that we cannot guarantee the verbal quotes that we receive. For the best estimate of your benefits, we recommend that you also contact your insurance company directly to inquire about coverage for physical therapy in an office setting. You may also refer to your written insurance plan summary for assistance.

Your first appointment.

Please arrive 15 minutes early, and expect the initial visit to last 60-75 minutes. We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothes so your therapist can appropriately asses the area of pain or injury. Don’t worry, we’ve got changing facilities at our office.

Payment.

Co-payments and/or co-percentages are collected at each physical therapy visit. We accept cash, checks, or credit card payments.
