Nicole Moore, DPT, PRC

Nicole grew up in Surfside Beach, Texas before moving to San Antonio to complete her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at The University of Texas at San Antonio. After completing undergrad Nicole used her background in dance/gymnastics to work as a gymnastics coach in Austin where she developed a passion for working with youth athletes and discovered the field of Physical Therapy. Nicole began working at STAR as a technician while pursuing her graduate studies. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio. Early into practicing Physical Therapy Nicole recognized the need to address patient’s whole system by identifying and correcting underlying asymmetries to allow long term postural corrections and provide the most thorough treatment approach. She completed her Postural Restoration Certification through the Postural Restoration Institute in 2020. When indicated Nicole also uses Dry Needling skills learned from American Academy of Manipulative Therapy where she received certification from in 2021. Nicole focuses to provide personalized treatment plans that combine Postural Restoration treatment approach, manual therapy and education to help patients achieve their individual goals.

Nicole loves to stay active with outdoor activities like running, mountain biking, hiking the greenbelt with her dog and spending time on the lake. She and her Husband Cameron enjoy Longhorn Athletics, trying new restaurants and listening to live music. When able to travel Nicole enjoys snowboarding in the winter and visiting the beach in the summer. She is proud to have celebrated 5 years of practicing at STAR as a Physical Therapist where she has been able to work with patients of all ages to maximize function, provide education on injury prevention and restore patients to their full potential.
