Julie Mankinen PT, OCS, FAAOMPT
Julie is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University, with over 12 years of orthopedic clinical expertise. She holds advanced certifications as an Orthopedic Specialist (2000) and as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (2001). Julie provides specialized hands-on care for all types of pain and injury affecting the spine and the extremities. She has a special interest in sports rehabilitation for soccer and running injuries, and is an active participant locally in both of these sports. She has over 8 years of clinical education experience – teaching courses locally and nationally on the scientific prescription of exercise, as well as on manual therapy, the spine, and TMJ dysfunction. She also serves as a clinical instructor for graduate students in physical therapy, as well as for professional therapists seeking manual therapy fellowship. Julie is a proficient Spanish speaker.
